Background

Defide Inc. moved to “Shin Tokyo 4TH” located in the Marunouchi area of Tokyo in November 2020. This floor of the Shin-Tokyo Building is a base for the emergence of innovation and strengthening of digital infrastructure, and Defide was invited as a company that promotes digital transformation（DX）and open innovation. Defide Marunouchi Studio is set up in the company office, an ideal space that offers both great design and ease of use, and is attracting attention as a shooting, distribution, and video production studio that supports live streaming. In addition, it is equipped with professional grade high-performance and state-of-the-art equipment so that it can be used as a rental studio by a variety of clients.

Systems

◆ Studio and Control Room
A camera, a 48-inch touch panel display, and a green back screen for chroma key composition are installed in the studio. To support a variety of content production, the control room is fully equipped with two cameras; a PC to store archived content; a TriCaster production unit that uses a touch-panel display to switch between images and apply chroma key effects; and audio equipment including a 12-channel mixer and wireless microphones. In addition to recording, the studio can also be used for live online streaming.

◆ Entrance
The design of the entrance uses curves and shades of green to create a welcoming sense of warmth. Visuals such as corporate messages and seasonal greetings are displayed on the vertically-installed signage board.

◆ Lounge
The video conference area is equipped with a monitor for web conferencing to facilitate online meetings. Behind it is another area for stand-up meetings with a whiteboard separating the two spaces.

◆ Meeting Room
A web conferencing system with a large monitor is installed in the main meeting room. It is used daily for both internal and external meetings.

◆ Coworking
This spacious area is used as a coworking space to promote the generation of even better ideas. A BOSE speaker is installed on the ceiling.
