Background

As the use of web conferencing has increased due to the spread of Covid-19, Totsu Sangyo installed Microsoft Teams Rooms and Room Booking solution throughout the office, based on Pfizer's global standard "Teams Platform". The boardroom, which had only been used for executive meetings, is now transformed into a "meeting room with a hybrid web conferencing function" that can be used by employees for various meetings.
Since the LED display is now used as the front display, dimming the meeting room is no longer needed. And replacing an old single 4:3 display with two 16:9 large LED displays provides larger screen space for presented documents and the video display of online participants, resulting in a user-friendly immersive meeting environment.

System Overview

The system is composed of 2 sets of a 138” LED display and supports the use of Teams Rooms with Crestron Flex as well as the use of BYOD web conferencing software.
The ceiling microphone is used to collect in-room voices and the ceiling speaker is used to deliver online voices, enabling handsfree conversations.

Console

The control panel in the console allows for an easy source switching and a screen layout change without interrupting the meeting.

◆ Large LED Display（Teams Rooms Front Row）
Compared to a projector, the LED display allows information to be seen clearly from any seat even in a bright meeting room.
Two 16:9 LED displays provide screen space to show a large amount of information at the same time, enabling a meeting to be carried out smoothly.
When using Teams Rooms, its Front Row layout feature allows an immersive meeting with online participants.

The front camera has rotation, zoom, and preset functions and accurately captures a speaker.

◆ Ceiling Mic / Speaker
The ceiling microphone and speaker allows a conversation without the need to prepare a microphone.

◆ Peripheral Equipment
Peripheral equipment is stored compactly in a cabinet, which blends well with the room appearance.
