Background
Temple University is a comprehensive public research university founded in 1884 and located in Pennsylvania, USA, made up of 17 schools and colleges.
Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) was established in 1982 and is the Japanese campus of Temple University. It is the oldest foreign university in Japan and was the first to be designated as a Foreign University, Japan Campus by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. Japanese students make up 40% of the student body, American students make up another 40%, with the remaining 20% consisting of students from over 60 nationalities. As a part of the relocation of the campus to Showa Women’s University campus in Setagaya, Tokyo, media equipment was installed in the new building.
Systems
◆“The Parliament” STUDENT LOUNGE
“The Parliament,”an open, multipurpose space, is used for relaxing, eating, and studying. It is also used for seminars and various events. AV equipment includes a laser projector, screen and microphone system, as well as a stage.
◆ENTRANCE
The entrance has a 65-inch wall-mounted display. The digital signage system provides event information entirely in English.
◆STUDENT MEETING ROOM
This small glass room is used by students for meetings.
◆ELEVATOR HALL SIGNAGE
The elevator hall on each floor is equipped with a 55-inch signage display which provides event information.
◆CLASSROOM FACILITIES
AV equipment such as video projectors has been installed in 33 classrooms.
◆MEDIA ROOM
In the media room, Mac computers and media software are available for use. A green screen and an audio studio are available for content creation.
