In fact, CaLabo EX is constantly adopting cutting-edge technologies in order to provide teachers and students with an easier and more user-friendly system. It helps create an ideal learning environment by digitally delivering a variety of learning tools, such as audio and visuals from existing analog materials, as well as the latest digital content. By adding new features in response to requests from schools, it can enable effective learning in accordance with students’ comprehension levels, curriculum progress, and learning material contents.

MALL System – Overview of CaLabo MX (CHIeru Co., Ltd.)
MALL is the abbreviation for “Mobile Assisted Language Learning.”CaLabo MX is a cloud-based language learning system accessible from laptops, smartphones, and other portable mobile devices. It is optimal for BYOD environments and facilitates the four skills for English learning: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. This type of language support system also helps reduce installation and operation costs. Learning activities can be recorded on any device, and even on PCs and smartphones, regardless of whether they are conducted in or outside class. This is beneficial for improving the overall quality of teaching.
Smart CALL System – Overview of SmartClass+ (Robotel Inc.)
SmartClass+ is a language learning platform developed by Robotel Inc. in Canada. It uses the latest technology to help learners improve foreign language conversation ability and is easy for both teachers and students to use. Unlike existing platforms that use desktops in limited classroom settings, SmartClass+ incorporates BYOD for language learning anytime, anywhere, and with any device.
The CALL system uses BYOD and supports various devices, operating systems and internet connection settings. Voice chat and screen sharing are also possible.
The management program centralizes various tasks, such as registering students to a class, preparing, uploading, and distributing assignments and evaluating student data. Teachers and students can access the system from school or from home.
LL System – Overview of AdiLL (Ampere Inc.)
Language lesson support systems used in LL classrooms have switched from using analog cassette tapes to using digital media. Although the legacy analog equipment had some advantages, updates and support were lacking. Moreover, there were various complaints about the previous CALL system. Teachers commented on the difficulty of using the equipment, which ultimately became a distraction in class. There were also concerns about the cost of installation and maintenance. Related to that, in the event of a system failure, turnaround time for recovery could be quite long. To resolve these issues, AdiLL has incorporated the fundamental advantages of both the analog and digital language education system. This product has lower running costs and lower power consumption, making it more eco-friendly.
